Last week we learned that when we focus on giants, we stumble but when we focus on God our giants tumble. If you’re serious about asking God to slay some giants in your life, then no doubt you’ve encountered some obstacles along the way. When that happens, we have a choice to make. We can give up on God or we can give in to God. We’d like to suggest from the Book of Nehemiah that whenever we face trouble, we must deal with the rubble. Let’s talk about it. Thanks for watching. Did you know experts have identified 500 unique phobias? Phobia comes from the Greek word for fear and refers to a panic that is completely out of proportion to the perceived threat behind it. The nation of Israel had an intense phobia or fear called megalophobia: The fear of giants. Today we’re going to take a look at what is perhaps the best-known Bible story of all time from 1 Samuel 17—the story of David and Goliath and we’ll learn 7-strategies to help you face your fears head-on. Nearing the end of the interlude between the 6^th and 7^th trumpet judgments, John is told to measure God’s temple. Today we’ll talk about Rev chapter 10. This chapter introduces an interlude between the 6th and 7th trumpet judgments, much as chapter 7 was an interlude between the 6th and 7th seals. Welcome to Joshua 1:1-9. There’s a particular phrase in this passage that appears 3 times and it can be challenging for us to use in the right context. That phrase is be strong and courageous.
