Sunday Sep 08, 2024
Sunday Sep 08, 2024
Have you ever thought “I’m too sinful to be saved? I’ve done too many bad things for too long for God to save me.” Today, we’re introduced to an enemy of the Gospel, who had his own definition of Christianity until he came face-to-face with the reality of outside revelation and with the resurrected Christ Himself. Who was this man? He was called Saul and this is his story. Thanks for listening. God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

Sep 4 – 12 Timeless Voices – Zechariah, Pt 3
Wednesday Sep 04, 2024
Wednesday Sep 04, 2024
The previous vision in Chapter 4 ended with the interpreting angel calling Israel’s God “the LORD of all the earth” (Vs 14, NLT), a title that is also used in Ps 95:7 and Isa 54:5. Zechariah’s purpose in writing is to tell us about the future of the Jews and Jerusalem, but the future of the whole world is involved in the future of the Jews, for God called Israel to bring blessing or cursing to all the nations of the earth (Gen 12:1-3). In this study the prophet will talk about key events that give evidence that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is indeed “the LORD of all the earth.” Thanks for listening. God bless you! As we consider technology and advances in Artificial Intelligence (Ai) one very important question comes to mind, “Are we headed to a future that doesn’t need us?” While technology can certainly be helpful in evangelism, God still desires a living believer to share the Gospel with another living person. In short, we ARE still needed and in today’s text we’ll find out how as we discover three phases of real-person evangelism. Thanks for listening. God bless you! Aug 25 – A Journey Through Acts, Pt 21 – Characteristics of False Faith
Sunday Aug 25, 2024
Sunday Aug 25, 2024
Satan doesn’t care so much if you’re a Christian as long as you don’t act like one. And do you know what? It’s likely there are people like that in every church. They act religious but are not born again. They talk about Heaven but don’t demonstrate a walk of holiness. They may know the date of their baptism but there is no evidence (fruit) of a changed life. In today’s passage, Acts 8:9-25, we’ll see how Satan influenced a religious racketeer named Simon to exhibit false faith. Thanks for listening. God bless you! Aug 21 – 12 Timeless Voices – Zechariah, Pt 2
Wednesday Aug 21, 2024
Wednesday Aug 21, 2024
Today we’re going to talk about Zechariah’s 4th and 5th visions as found in chapters 3 and 4. These chapters focus on Joshua and Zerubbabel, the two leaders of the Jewish remnant who knew how tough it was to lead. Joshua was high priest and had the concern for the spiritual life of the people. Zerubbabel was governor and had the responsibility of managing the civil affairs of the nation. But their work wasn’t easy. Zerubbabel was trying to motivate people who were discouraged and selfish and Joshua was trying to educate people who were disobedient and sinful. Is there any hope for a defiled and discouraged nation or a defined and discouraged church or individual? Thanks for watching. Blessings and love in Christ! Thanks for listening. God bless you! Aug 18 – A Journey Through Acts, Pt 20 – Grow and Tell
Sunday Aug 18, 2024
Sunday Aug 18, 2024
In today’s passage, Acts 8:1-8, we’re going to see how God used persecution to propel His people into a decaying and dark world. The first Christians had become comfortable meeting together to grow. Now it was time for them to go and tell others about the Gospel. Thanks for listening. God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

Wednesday Aug 14, 2024
Wednesday Aug 14, 2024
Today in Part 1 we’re going to focus on God and His people and we’ll study Zechariah’s first 3 visions over chapters 1 & 2. We’re going to learn that God watches the nations and knows what they are doing—He judges the nations for their sins, especially for their mistreatment of Israel. And we’ll see that there is a glorious future planned for Jerusalem and the Jewish nation when Jesus returns to cleanse them and restore the glory of God to their midst. Thanks for listening. Aug 11 – A Journey Through Acts, Pt 19 – Stephen Responds
Sunday Aug 11, 2024
Sunday Aug 11, 2024
What Stephen does in Acts 7 is masterful as he retells the history of God’s people, drawing a line from Abraham to the present day. He quotes extensively from the Old Testament to show how far they had fallen. This is the longest sermon in the Book of Acts and is saturated with Scripture. Every point he made was backed up in the Bible, which is an obvious application for each of us. We’ll also see how the Christian message is fully consistent with, and is the fulfillment of, the Old Testament. Get your Bible of Bible app ready and let’s go! Thanks for listening. God bless you! Aug 7 – 12 Timeless Voices – Haggai
Wednesday Aug 07, 2024
Wednesday Aug 07, 2024
Our values and priorities are reflected in how we use our resources—time, money, strength and talent. Often our actions contradict our words. We say God is number one, but then we relegate Him to a lesser number on our “to do” lists. 25-Centuries ago, a voice was heard, calling men and women to the right priorities. Haggai knew what was important and what had to be done and he challenged God’s people to respond. Thanks for listening. God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.
