The Lord’s Supper—many have heard that name and have experienced it at one time or another in church. The Corinthian’s attitude and behavior toward the Lord’s Supper was causing division and disunity in the church. And that lack of unity caused the believers to lose the real meaning behind what they were remembering. What does the Lord’s Supper really mean and how is it to be celebrated? Let’s talk about it. Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

Today we take on another tough issue in 1 Corinthians and that is the subject of marriage. Our upbringing, the media and society are a few of the things that influence our view of marriage and the commitment it requires. There are many who would like to change the definition of marriage and downplay its importance. The Apostle Paul would have us turn our hearts back to God, the Creator of marriage, and rediscover this sacred institution’s true definition and purpose. Come and let’s journey together to find out more. Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

Today we’re going to tackle an issue that is rampant in society—sexual immorality. We have “adult bookstores” in most towns and pornography is the most profitable business on the Internet. This same kind of addiction was evident in Corinth as well. In today’s study the apostle Paul is going to address this issue directly and he’s also going to teach us about self-control—not allowing ourselves to be controlled either by non-helpful habits or serious sin. It’s on folks...let’s go! Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

What do you think of when you hear the phrase “Power Plays”? Some will relate it to athletic events and yet some will relate it more to interpersonal or organizational matters. Can there be power plays within the church? Yes there can. In fact in today’s study Paul rebukes the church in Corinth for getting caught up in making Christianity about them and not about the Kingdom. How can we avoid doing that? Stay tuned and let’s find out together. Thanks for listening, God bless you! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.

In Ecc 4, Solomon deals with an issue that frustrates many people in our world. It’s the issue of “unfairness”—that things just aren’t always right and fair in this life. Inside each one of us is an inner voice that tells us that all things should be fair. But then we see oppression, tragedy and sorrow and we say, “Well that’s just not right,” or “This shouldn’t be happening!” What then are we to do? We’re going to answer that question a whole lot more so stay with us and let’s find out. Thanks for listening! To find out more about our church please go to www.whccnb.org.
