Apr 17 – What Does EASTER Stand For?

Today we gather to celebrate Easter—The Resurrection of Jesus Christ; To give praise to a God who moved the stone that day and to a God who still moves the stones, the trials, in our lives today. The question we’re going to answer about today is What Does the Word EASTER Stand For? And we’re going to answer that question in the form of an acrostic. Apr 13 – Philippians – Pt 1 – A Note of Thanks

How can you be joyful in a world filled with dissension? How can you call others to joy when you yourself are struggling? The typical Christian today doesn’t know how to answer these questions, because joy is thought to be what comes with prosperity and success. Joy is what happens when your church is growing and when its influence is spreading in the community. Joy is the lack of pressure and hardship. Philippians is a letter that helps us to address these questions and experience a joy that is with us in the ups and downs of life. Come join us on this amazing journey. Apr 10 – Palm Sunday: What Is It All About?

In the simplest of terms, Palm Sunday is an opportunity to reflect upon the final week of Jesus' life. Jesus did not deny the image that the crowd expected—the fulfillment of the hopes of Israel that He would be their earthly king, destroying the Roman government. Instead, Jesus humbly entered Jerusalem to give His life on a cross, saving mankind from sin and death. One day, Jesus will return gloriously as a mighty warrior in battle (Rev 19:11–16). Mar 30 – Ezekiel & Daniel – Pt 12 – Forgiveness Sought

Many of us have a hard time saying “I’m sorry” because we struggle to admit that we are wrong. Apologizing places us in a vulnerable situation because we are confessing our failure to someone. Yet the forgiveness that comes after admitting our mistake can restore a relationship, and it often actually strengthens it. We need to admit we probably don’t worship God as we should. We enjoy the singing, the music, the preaching and the company. But it’s not about pleasing us or making us happy. We live in a temporal world. But one thing is certain and that is the return of Jesus. He told His disciples in Matt 24:30-31 that His coming will part the sky and every eye will see Him. Human history is headed somewhere and every day is one day closer to Christ’s return. In this study we will see how Daniel’s dream affirmed the eternal existence of God’s kingdom.
