In today’s study we’ll talk about three men who will be coming to Corinth to help collect the Corinthian's contribution to the needs of suffering Christians in Jerusalem. And the battle cry will be to “finish what you started” and having “transparency and accountability” in all things, particularly church financial issues. This is going to be really good so let’s join together and find out more. Also This will be the last study for 2022 as we’ll be taking a break for the Christmas holiday. ‘Tis the season. Every year we that around this time because, well, it IS the season. Most of the time we know what that “season” is. For instance today is the Sunday after Thanksgiving so it’s the season for shopping. But that’s not all. Have you ever considered this is also a season for sighing? That’s right, sighing. Sighing is defined like this: to emit a long, deep, audible breath expressing sadness, relief, tiredness, or a similar feeling. So what does this have to do with ‘Tis the season you ask? Thanksgiving! It is one of the happiest days of the year. It is a special time for families and friends to get together and enjoy each other’s company and share in the abundance of food available to us. Also during this time many will pause to consider our blessings and to thank God for all that He has given us. As we consider our blessings and think about the many things that have come our way, surely we should be “humbly grateful.” Much has been given to us therefore we have a tremendous obligation to respond in kind.
