Sep 4 – 12 Timeless Voices – Zechariah, Pt 3

The previous vision in Chapter 4 ended with the interpreting angel calling Israel’s God “the LORD of all the earth” (Vs 14, NLT), a title that is also used in Ps 95:7 and Isa 54:5. Zechariah’s purpose in writing is to tell us about the future of the Jews and Jerusalem, but the future of the whole world is involved in the future of the Jews, for God called Israel to bring blessing or cursing to all the nations of the earth (Gen 12:1-3). In this study the prophet will talk about key events that give evidence that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is indeed “the LORD of all the earth.” Thanks for listening. God bless you!
