Nov 3 – A Journey Through Acts, Pt 31 – Pursuing God’s Glory

Why does God call us to pursue God’s glory? When Jesus defeated death on the cross, He broke the power of sin over our lives. We became a new creation when we trusted in Christ’s justifying work and so we have died to our old selves. Our lives are freed from bondage to sin to now please God. He calls us to glorify Himself because our joy depends on it—and He loves us enough to give us what will bring us ultimate joy and satisfaction! Thanks for listening. God bless you!
