Jul 26 – 1 Timothy, Pt 6 – Advice about Widows, Elders & Slaves

Today we’ll find that Paul was thinking of Timothy’s audience in Ephesus. There, men and women of all ages were under Timothy’s care. Paul thought of the groups within the congregation needing special attention. He wanted Timothy to practice good general principles of personal care and also to deal with some specific people needs. Paul chose the treatment of widows and elders as prime examples. He also had some instructions concerning slaves who were believers. There a lot to talk about today so let’s get started.
