Aug 9 – 2 Timothy, Pt 8– Paul’s Greetings and Encouragement for Timothy to be Faithful

Have you ever been greeted by someone in a way that made you feel really special—like you really matter? It makes you feel amazing doesn’t it? Paul had already written to Timothy (1 Tim) and that letter contained a lot of awesome pastoral guidance. But in this second letter Paul gets more personal. In fact in verse 3 he begins by saying, “Timothy, I thank God for you.” We all need to be encouraged especially in being faithful to the Lord.
