Aug 28 – God Goes to War – Pt 2

In today’s sermon we’re going to study Rev 4:1-11. When you first read these verses you might think, “What’s going on here?” Why does Jesus take John to a “church service” right off the bat? I’m sure it was beautiful ceremony but it seems irrelevant. Why not just get right down to the nitty gritty and tell us what we REALLY want to know—tell us about the conflict between the forces of good and evil. Tell us about the conflict between Satan’s army and the angels of God? Why start with a worship service? Why? Because that’s where God KNEW we needed to begin. And so it is...let’s go! God bless you.
