Fear is an obstacle that can stand in the way of fulfilling God’s plan for our lives. Paul knew this as he encouraged the Philippians in Phil 1:28 when he said, “Don’t be intimidated in any way by your enemies.” And he then goes on to discuss how they should be living their lives as Christians.
